Both fish caught by Capt Ken on Mar 6,2008 Both these fish slammed the FROG on a rainey evening. The first fish hit just before the rainstorm began, and the bigger fish hit just before dark. Brutal fight in the pads on that one. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The FROG strikes again. In the final minutes of light on a rainy, warm front, evening, this bass couldn't resist the FROG even though it was right on the quarter moon when they are usually less responsive. This photo light has been brightness enhanced . It was actually darker out than it appears. The next photo was taken with a flash.
Caught by Capt Ken on December 30, 2007 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- At over 29 inches long, largemouth bass just don't get bigger than this ----except in very rare circumstances. There is just something about that 29 inch mark that is a physical developmental barrier. They get fatter and heavier, but not longer. I'm not sure, but I think that this is my "second" biggest fish. A close second. I don't know for sure----maybe even bigger. I don't know what it weighed. I couldn't deal with the idea of taking it to a tackle shop to weigh it in. She was released alive and very healthy. Thanks to my floating livewell resuscitator you see floating behind me on the water. It will allow the fish to rest and recover in the water while you get your camera ready. Click here to see an example of the resuscitator
My biggest FROG Bass, and maybe my biggest bass ever. Caught by Capt Ken on December 10, 2007 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

June 14, 2007 Big bass caught by kayak on my most recent design of my designer Bass FROG in the Ocala National Forest -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This beautiful 22.5 inch trout with half a tail hit right next to the kayak on a Banjo Minnow while fishing Charlotte Harbor. We also caught some nice redfish and snook plus many, many more big trout. It was a great trip.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I went on a striped bass fishing vacation with my fishing buddy Rich Torgun from Gloucester City, N.J. Caught while wading from the beach !
Striped Bass: 34 pounds 40 inches Bait: One very big and very ugly bloodworm Delaware River, N.J. I went on a striped bass fishing vacation with my life long fishing buddy Rich Torgun from Gloucester City, N.J. The Delaware River continues to make a great comeback as you can see from the results, and Rich Torgun knows where to go and what to do to get the big ones. Thanks a bunch, Rich. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I recently had the good fortune to have Jon Shein and Joey Cambria from KAYAKFISHINGSTUFF.COM here for a visit to harass the Redfish out on the flats of the Gulf of Mexico
Jon Shein puts the quick grip device on a nice Redfish to get it under control quickly Jon hit his redfish (probably about 8 lbs) on a BIG FISH TACKLE 1/8 gold spoon. Joey wasn't left out either and he nailed a redfish on a topwater Mirrolure (5m18). Joey got to sight his fish ( photo is in the mail )before presenting the plug, and was able to watch the Red's reaction when the lure came overhead and watched the strike. That's what the flats are all about. We also got into a mix of Trout, Ladyfish and small Jack Crevalles blasting bait on the surface. I can show you my Redfish just before I caught him. He's the one below with the Bigger tail in the school pictured below. There were about 100 redfish in this school.
